Osama/Obama. 1 down, 1 to go.
America has been cheering in victory over the death of Osama Bin Laden. Many people are saying that now the war is over, and soon the government will start bringing our troops back home. The people who hear this believe it and are anxious for their return, where on the other hand... that's not going to happen. And even if it does, we are screwed.
A lot of Americans think it was Obama who killed Bin Laden, and that without Obama, we would still be searching for him. I disagree 100%. Obama had NOTHING to do with the death of OBL. He was just the guy who was in office when our troops finally found him and killed him. Bin Laden was killed by an American soldier who just a few weeks ago Obama was debating on whether or not should be paid.
The next thing is, this war is far from over. The Taliban are nothing like the Nazis. In a bad way. If we thought 9/11 was bad, Americans killing Osama Bin Laden just stirred up the beehive. I think for the first time since the Civil War, we're going to have a state of war fought on our own soil, and Obama is just steps away from an assassination. I could be wrong, but it's a highly likely theory, and could very well happen within the next few years. If not sooner.
